red velvet
i got this from and this is one of the few mug cakes that taste like cake instead of bread.

4 tablespoons self rising flour (if you don’t have it use all purpose flour with two pinches of baking powder)
4 tablespoons sugar
1 egg
red food coloring (optional)
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons vegetable oil

combine all ingredients into a coffee mug, whisk until smooth, and microwave 1 1/2- 3 minutes (it took 1 1/2 for me but it depends on your microwave)

cream cheese icing
while the cake is in the microwave and cooling down, this cream cheese icing is really easy and quick to make.
2 ounces cream cheese
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup powdered sugar
i used a handheld electric mixer and it was done in less than a minute and tasted so good.

i poked holes with a chopstick into the cake, poured some heavy cream (to make it more flavorful and less dry) and topped it with icing and it tasted SO GOOOODD.

i got this from the food network website i’ve tried this a while ago and i thought it was really dry, so what i did was i poked some holes into the cake once it was done and poured some milk or heavy cream into it to take out some of the dryness.

1/4 cup flour
5 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
pinch of salt and dash of vanilla extract

combine ingredients in a coffee mug and whisk until smooth. microwave for 1 1/2 -2 minutes (depending on your microwave). top with ice cream of whipped cream and enjoy chocolate goodness.
